Altraplan has seized the unique opportunity to enter in the exciting world of fast-paced motor sports, by supporting and sponsoring a young and talented race driver at FIA GT3 European championship and ADAC GT Masters throughout Europe

Young Driver Aps is a Danish company that handles practical arrangements for young race drivers. The concept behind Young Driver is spotting young talents within Denmark and assisting them in shaping a successful international career and finding secure sponsorship early in their careers.

Young Driver partners with the Fisher Racing team which has achieved great success in a number of series over the years and has also won the Seat Cup in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

The car sponsored is a Ford GT3 and Christoffer Nygaard, a young man born in Denmark in 1986, is set to drive it in 2009 for the Fischer Racing Team in the FIA GT3 European Championship and in the ADAC GT Masters in Germany . Christoffer Nygaard has already participated in numerous races and has achieved spots on the podium no less than 8 times!

The FIA GT3 European Championship is a sports car racing series that provides competition for private GT3 teams. The series is based on the “Cup of the Cups” concept which places various car types in competition against one another.

The ADAC GT Masters is a German racing series for amateur teams and is based on the same strict regulations that apply to the FIA GT3 European Championship.

At the first FIA GT3 European Championship race Altraplan participated as co-sponsor, in Oschersleben on 21 June, the Fischer Racing Team got the first place!

The Team also got the 2 nd place at Lausitzring in Germany on 5 July!

Altraplan is particularly proud to be able to support the youth through these sport events.
